When I was given the opportunity to review products from Two Mom in the Raw, I definitely wasn’t expecting what I got. What did I expect? Good food, but “healthy” tasting food. The kind of thing my daughter snubs her cute little nose at. What did I get? Amazing food. Fantastic food. Food that Little Miss and I were fighting each other for the last morsel of!

So stop right now and go on over to their website and have a look around. All of their products are 100% raw, organic, and handmade. I guess that is why they are so delicious – there is love in every single bite! They also have a HUGE selection of gluten-free choices, which I know is good for a lot of people!

The Tomato Basil Sea Crackers was one item that I didn’t have to fight Little Miss over – probably because she doesn’t like tomatoes. She ate a few, which says a lot, but then left me with the rest of them, which made me happy! They were crunchy and had a wonderful sun-dried tomato kind of flavor. They also go really well with hummus. They’re made mostly with ground and whole flax seeds. Even though it looked like most of the flax seeds were whole, they assures me that there were a ton of ground ones in there as well, which is important for getting their nutrients! If you’ve never had flax seeds, they have a very nutty taste.

I love having a snack I can give Little Miss when we’re on the go and actually feel GREAT about giving it to her! They call their nut bars cinnamon rolls without the roll, and there is a good reason for that. Little Miss and I couldn’t get enough of this bar – we both wanted to eat the whole thing! We tried the Cranberry Nut Bar, chock full of nuts and with a sweet-cinnamon flavor. Good enough to be dessert!

We were also both fans of the Blueberry Granola. It isn’t as sweet as the nut bars, so the nutty taste really comes through. Due to the seed and nut combination it’s both chewy and crunchy – a great combination. I really enjoyed the pepitas in there too.

One thing I didn’t even offer Little Miss – the Almond Butter Cacao Truffle. These were absolutely indulgent – a great way to end the evening. They are rich and chocolaty and not too sweet. They are also great to eat right before bed because they give you a nice protein boost to keep you full through the evening.

So where can you get these amazing products?  Order off of the website, or if there is a Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage where you live you can look for them there.  Try them, you won’t regret it!

BTW the recent facelift on your website looks FABULOUS!

  2. Those truffles look so good. So! Good! I haven’t heard of this brand before but I’m going to definitely search for those truffles next time I’m at Whole Foods. 🙂

  3. On my way to Whole Foods tomorrow…I’d like to try the Cranberry Nut Bars and those Almond Butter Cacao Truffles.
Thanks for the great review…I am always looking for new healthy food to try.

  4. These do look good. I know that I should eat more raw foods, but I always feel so hungry if I don’t eat at least some cooked foods in a meal. Maybe it’s time to give it another try.
