If you’re like me, you want to know exactly what goes into your cleaning products. When I had Little Miss, that became even more important to me! You can buy natural cleaners, but a lot of them are pretty expensive. So what’s a Green Mom supposed to do? How about make your own natural household cleansers!
It’s really a lot easier than you think, especially if you have this great E-book from The Peaceful Housewife. Jenny at the Peaceful Housewife knows a lot about natural cleaners. In fact, she has her own line of cleaning products she sells! Her prices are incredibly reasonable, so if you’re a busy mom you should definitely consider just buying products from her. She has Bath and Body, Laundry, Soaps, and Cleaners.
So how is the E-book? You can get a glimpse of some of the recipes here. I like that they are all easy to follow – I’ve used several of them, and they work great too. Yes, you can find some of these recipes online, but I know from experience that searching online can bring you too much information and get overwhelming. Jenny’s recipes are tried and true, and will definitely be my go-to source from now own! I also love that she gives you multiple names for some items that may be hard to find if you don’t know several names for them (for example, washing soda is sodium carbonate, so if you think you found it just check the ingredient list)! There are even recipes for wet mop refills and carpet cleaner.
I’m a fan of the multipurpose spray cleaner. You can make it with things you likely have in your house right now, and it works great! So go visit Jenny, and give her products and/or her e-books a try!
