Who doesn’t love Shrek? I don’t know how you couldn’t, we have just about all of the Shrek movies by now! I think we’re only missing one for Christmas. If you love Shrek as much as we do, you’ll want to check out Scared Shrekless and Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space, here in time for Halloween in a thrill-filled Double DVD Pack.
Little Miss enjoyed both of these movies – our only complaint was that we wished they were longer! Parents will love Shrek’s version of Thriller! In Scared Shrekless, Shrek challenges his friends to tell the spookiest stories they know – I thought this one might scare Little Miss, but she was so familiar with the characters and they were their typical funny selves, so it didn’t phase her.
In Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space, it’s discovered that pumpkins are actually mutant aliens! Luckily the monsters are there to smash the mutants’ wicked scheme to take over Earth.
We got some great props to make the movies even more fun – Little Miss has been enjoying ogre ears and hands immensely! We also got some ghoulish candy to go along with it – that will probably be going home with Dad! Our only complaint was that the movies are really short – they’re 27 minutes, so more like television shows than actual movies. We want to see more!!!

I had no idea these existed! I will definitely order them for next year as they would never make it to Norway in time for our annual party. This year The Haunted Mansion will have to suffice, but boy will next year be a hoot!

I bet your Halloween parties are the bomb! You can probably pick them up really cheap online after Halloween, since you won’t be able to get them in time this year anyways! One warning – the movies are very short. I thought I put that in the review, but I guess I forgot….the run times are 27 minutes each, same as a tv show.
