Green Bible Stories for Children–A Review and Giveaway

One of our tasks on Earth from God is to protect everything that he gave us.  In Green Bible Stories for Children, Bible stories are used to show us how to preserve planet earth and make our world more eco-friendly.

Each story starts with a short paragraph expressing the main idea of the story that follows.  For example, in the story of Noah’s Ark, they talk about ecosystems and how all of God’s creatures are important, even the ones we may not like that much.

After the story, there is are activities that go along with them.  Some are crafts, and some are activities (think mini science projects).  All are fairly simple and don’t require going out and getting a lot of supplies.

Although this book is geared towards older children (ages 8-11), Little Miss enjoys it.  We sometimes have to condense a story a little bit, but overall she pays attention!  Some of the activities are a little advanced for us right now, but I know we’ll enjoy them later!  You can see a sample story here.

Tami Lehman-Wilzig has been writing since she was 9.  As one of Israel’s leading English-language copywriters, she didn’t delve into the American market until 2003.  She loves creating original stories that get the reader involved!
