YesterYear Soaps – A Review and a Giveaway!

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Have you ever had the pleasure of using handmade soaps?  There is nothing quite like it!  YesterYear Soap Company is dedicated to preserving the craft of artisan soap making by making all-natural soap without added chemicals, preservatives, or synthetic fragrances. yesteryear soap

I had the pleasure of trying the 3 Bar Gift Box Set.   I loved the simple packaging the soap came in.  My gift set came with African Black Soap, Mango Papaya, and Orange Patchouli.  Their fragrance oils are either essential oils or blends of natural aroma components.  All of them smelled and looked great.

The soap makes a good lather, without being too soft.  I’ve tried the African Black Soap, which I really enjoy.  It has a mild scent, and the lather is about perfect for me.  I can’t wait to try the other soaps out too!  The Mango Papaya has a refreshing scent that I already love, I’m pretty sure it will end up being my favorite.  It’s also nice to know that these soaps were crafted by hand without the use of harsh chemicals.  These would make a great gift for the person who likes natural and homemade items!  They have a lot of different options – I think my favorite is the “Chunks of Soap” Basket.  What a great way to try out several different kinds of soap!

They have so many great scents to choose from – whether you’re in the mood for a calming lavender or a morning wake-up with café mocha!  I’d love to try the Sea Scrub soap, which has sea salt, palm and coconut oil, and all natural seaweed!  Be sure to like them on Facebook for a chance to winning the fan of the week and other special announcements!

  2. I love hand made soap. I used to buy myself special soap when I was a teenager. I love all types of fragrances especially florals. This soap sounds wonderful. I also like to store the bars unwrapped so they harden some and last longer. I learned that from my Mother who used to store all our soap in the linen closet. It not only made the linens smell delicious but made the soap last longer in the bath.
