I like that he doesn’t have any “magic” tricks or quick fixes that he’s trying to sell. Through the book and his e-mails, I really get the sense that he’s committed to making everyone he can live a healthier life. For the most part, I think his rules for healthy eating are spot-on, though there are a few I don’t really agree with, being a vegetarian. He adds gelatin to a lot of smoothies for added protein, but I don’t feel that’s necessary.
If you like motivational stories, you’ll LOVE this book. It’s full of them! Dustin talks a lot about strength training and burst training, which I think are both important in today’s hectic lifestyles. Even if you only have a few minutes you can get your heart rate up and get your body burning calories!The exercises in his book require little to no extra equipment, which I think is great. A balance ball and some weights, and you have everything you need to do these exercises.
Overall, I think this is a good book and I’ll definitely be referring to it when I need some motivation!
