Spring Giveaway Hop–Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler

Welcome to A Tisket A Tasket Spring Giveaway Hop coordinated by ShePromotes.com!

This event will take place from April 8th at 12:01am EST through April 22nd at 11:59pm EST.

Over 100 bloggers have wonderful prizes valued at a minimum of $25 to help brighten your spring! So make like a bunny and get hoppin’!

I never thought I would receive compliments on a garbage can, but after receiving the 2-in-1 Reycler from Rubbermaid that changed!  This is a great invention.  A small bucket that holds recyclables sits on top of an eight gallon trash can.  The bucket has a handle, so it’s super-easy to carry it out when it’s full!

The 2-in-1 Recycler makes recycling easy! This two-unit bin allows you to either contain trash and recyclables all in one location or sort recyclables. The top unit is perfect for collecting recyclables and has a fold away handle that makes it easy to take out and empty into your recycling bin. The lower bin tilts out for easy access, and holds an 8 gallon trash bag in place with the Liner Lock™ system. Alternatively, you can use the lower bin to sort another type of recyclable and carry it out with the built-in handles.

  • Contain trash and recyclables all in one location or sort your recyclables
  • Sleek design blends into kitchen décor
  • Features LinerLock™ bag management in lower bin
  • Removable lid
  • Fold-away handles
  • 5.8 gal sorting bin
  • 7.4 gal tilt out bin with Liner Lock™ handles
  • Total capacity = 13.2 gal
  • Perfect for multi-stream or single stream recycling

We had to flip the handle on the Liner Lock™ system in order to get the bottom unit to close properly, but after that it was smooth sailing!  I really like how the bottom bin tilts out – being able to get to the trash can using only your foot comes in handy!  Be sure to connect with Rubbermaid on Facebook and twitter to keep up with their latest happenings!  They also have a great blogwith tons of organization tips!
