Essential Swimwear

Living on the Gulf Coast, we spend a lot of our time on or near the water. So of course as the weather is heating up it’s time to check out bathing suits! I used to be a fan of bikinis, but after I had Little Miss I got a little more conservative with my choices.

I love that Essential Swimwear has a huge selection of tankini tops – there aren’t just a couple of styles to choose from. I also really love that they have free returns – swimsuits can be so hard to find the right fit, so this makes it much easier! They also have a wide range of bottoms to choose from.  Not to mention their prices are great! 

I chose the metallic twist front top, which has a fun pattern on it, and that I really like. Since I already had a wide assortment of plain black bottoms, I went with the swim skirt, which is not a bathing suit bottom, but will pair up perfectly with some of the ones I have. It’s been great – it doesn’t float up like ones I’ve had in the past, and it’s perfect for when you’re paddleboarding or boating. It dries quickly, provides plenty of coverage, and is super easy to take off or leave on on top of your bathing suit. Talk about a lot of options!essential swimwear

I’ve worn this suit several times in the last few weeks already, and I’m sure it’s going to be a staple item for me. The construction seems to be solid. The skirt will pair well with many of the suits I already have, which is nice. I love being able to mix and match my bathing suits, especially since we wear them so often here!
