So, it’s been really quiet around here lately. That’s because there has been so much going on I had to let something take a break! For the past 5 months, I’ve spent tons of time looking at houses, giving reports back to my husband, and taking photos for him. Now after all of that work, we’re finally moving to the beach!

Although I love the beach, this has been a hard transition for me. I fully thought that we would be in the mountains of North Carolina by now, so this move is dedication to staying here for a while longer. While the economy has grown here in recent years, my husband and I have not been successful in finding jobs in North Carolina that use our skill set.
However, Little Miss absolutely loves it here; she has no idea that she lives in a place where most people go on vacation! Also, the beach school is one of the best ones around – it was one of our main motivations for moving. Giving my daughter that kind of life and experience was just something I couldn’t pass up. Plus there is something so peaceful about living near the water.

So now we have to go into busy mode again to get our current house ready to put on the market! Not to mention move – Little Miss has a birthday party Oct 6th there! We’re doing an Ariel Birthday party – I’m sure there will be plenty of pictures. We have some great supplies ordered from Shindigz!

How exciting and congratulations!
We spend every other summer in Watersound, FL and live full time in the mountains of Norway. I would much rather live on the beach and vaca in the snow. Keep us posted on your progress!
Klem,

I’ll do my best – so far it’s just been terribly busy! That’s what happens when you both work full time and one works out of state!
I’ve awarded you the Top 10 Award! http://mothernaturessnuggery.com/2012/09/28/beautiful-blogger-award-top-10-award
PS. All the best with the move, I’d love to live on a beach!
