If your toddler is anything like Little Miss, they love sweets but not necessarily vegetables. She’s slowly expanding her eating horizons, but for a long time there weren’t many vegetables she’d eat. Kashi decided to create a yummy chocolate square that has sweet potatoes and black beans in it! Thanks to Moms Meet, I was able to give them a try!
Kashi’s Chocolate Soft-Baked Squares are a tasty and nutritious twist on a favorite soft-baked chocolate-y snack with 4g of fiber*, 10g of whole grains, and only 160 calories per square.
They feature a signature combination of seven whole grains and are natural, minimally processed, and free of highly refined sugars, artificial additives, and preservatives.
But of course the real test is whether or not your child will eat it! While it’s not Little Miss’ preferred snack, she does like them. I thought they were tasty, even though they were a little bit dry. They are great to have around the house as a healthy alternative when you want a quick snack!
