Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which means a lot of people will be looking for a little romance – heading out to eat at a nice restaurant is a great way to enjoy a romantic evening! Last week, Collective Bias asked bloggers to write about the most romantic places to eat in their area. These will be compiled into a list so that you’ll be able to find romantic restaurants all across the country!
Fortunately for those in the Pensacola area, there are a lot of great choices when it comes to romantic dining. My husband and I like to celebrate a few days before or after Valentine’s Day so we don’t have to deal with the crowds and the inflated prices that sometimes come with this holiday. Here are some of our favorite places in Pensacola to have a romantic night out!
Global Grill: Without a doubt, some of the best food and service in Pensacola! The Global Grill specializes in tapas (small plates), which are perfect for trying a large variety of foods with your significant other. Even though Brian and I have extremely different tastes when it comes to food, we can always find a few dishes to share here.
Grand Marlin: If a romantic beach dinner is your style, you can’t go wrong with the Grand Marlin. It boasts some of the best views on the beach, and some of the freshest seafood as well. The lobster fingers are a must try! Weather permitting, opt for sitting outside on the beautiful patio – that’s where the best views are.
Fish House: If you’re a see and be seen couple, then the Fish House is where you need to be! The Fish House boasts great food and views, plus it’s a popular place where you’ll run into someone you know or maybe a local celebrity or two. Try one of their specials for the evening – they never disappoint!
Melting Pot: Brian and I like to go to the Melting Pot because it’s the perfect place to really take your time and have lots of great conversation. The seating is intimate, and cooking your own food just leads to lots of conversation. We always have a great time here!
La Brisa: La Brisa is one of the newer restaurants in Gulf Breeze. They boast stunning views of the bay, and often have live music. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. While the décor isn’t as nice as some of the above places, the food and service are right on par. If the weather is nice, be sure to sit outside on their patio – it’s lovely!
I hope you enjoy these places as much as my husband and I do! Do you have a favorite romantic restaurant in Pensacola?
