Living in Florida, you can never have too many fans! We use them so we can keep the thermostat a little higher in the summer, and in the winter we use free-standing fans to push the warm air that we get through the sun shining through our sliding glass doors into the house. We had the opportunity to review the Ozeri Ultra 42 Inch Wind Fan – Adjustable Oscillating Tower Fan with Noise Reduction Technology and we were impressed!

First of all, this fan really is quiet. A lot of the time the only reason I know that it’s running is because I feel the breeze, not because I hear it. Speaking of breezes, this fan moves A LOT of air.

One of the features this fan has that none of our other fans do is a remote and a timer option. The remote conveniently fits inside the top of the fan, so you are never wondering where it is. There is also a nice display that tells you the temperature where the fan is, the fan speed, and if it is oscillating.

The design is sleek, and the footprint of the fan is very small. My husband assembled it quickly with no difficulties. Even when it oscillates, it is very quiet.  It offers three preprogrammed airflow patterns designed to foster sleep, relaxation and comfort, and three whisper-quiet speed settings with 90 degree oscillation for optimal air circulation.

I agree with the other people who point out that this fan can be rather wobbly. That being said, even though it tends to wobble, it has never fallen over on us, even when my daughter accidently ran into i

t with a rocking chair!

This is another great Ozeri product – if you’re in the market for a fan check them out!

  1. It’s that time of year again, and I’m going to have to buy another fan… I think I may have to go with the Ozeri Ultra. It has a lot of the features I’ve been looking for.
