Here on Pensacola Beach, the Fourth of July is just a preview of all of the fun that is to come! Every year the Blue Angels have their show on Pensacola Beach the week after the Fourth. This is one of the great times of year to live on the beach – as long as you don’t mind the fact that you’ll be staying there all weekend without leaving the island!

For people not lucky enough to have a place to stay, the beach fills up early. Come out early and bring shade, sunscreen, food, and plenty of water to make sure you have a great stay. There will be things to do all week long, and many locals take at least a few days off to enjoy the festivities.

Tuesday, July 7 – Bands on the Beach
Bring your beach chairs, blankets and boogie shoes to Bands on the Beach at the Pensacola Beach Gulfside Pavilion. The free outdoor summer concert series presents Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs beginning at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 8 – Breakfast with the Blues
The early bird gets the blues on Wednesday morning. Visitors are encouraged to eat breakfast on Pensacola Beach and watch for the Blue Angels flying over at 8 a.m. This is the first of four opportunities to see the team perform during the week. All performances are weather permitting.

Thursday, July 9 – Blue Angels Practice Show
The Blue Angels will practice for the Saturday air show at 2 p.m., performing their exhilarating, high-speed stunts and maneuvers over Pensacola Beach and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Friday, July 10 – Blue Angels Dress Rehearsal
On Friday, the Blues will rehearse with the military and civilian acts that also perform in the Saturday air show. The rehearsal begins at noon, and the Blue Angels fly at 2 p.m.

The 2015 air show line-up includes the Redline Sports Team flying RV-8 speed demons; Fat Albert, a C-130 Hercules that flies support for the Blue Angels; Gary Ward flying the MX2, an unlimited aerobatic aircraft that spins and rotates at high speeds; Kevin Coleman flying a one of a kind Extra 300SHP; and Skip Stewart flying Prometheus, a biplane that roars and races.

Saturday, July 11 – Blue Angels Air Show and evening fireworks
The official 2015 Blue Angels Pensacola Beach Air Show begins at noon. The Blues take to the skies at 2 p.m.
After the Blues fly, Red White and Blues Week comes to a close on Saturday evening at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. The Blue Wahoos take on the Montgomery Biscuits at 6:35 p.m. Once the game ends, the Wahoos will put on a magnificent fireworks show over Pensacola Bay.
