My daughter loves to read, and we do everything we can to encourage her reading habit. One thing that works really well is giving her a magazine subscription. She loves it when she gets something in the mail! She really liked the assortment of magazines sent by Redan for review. 


I like how at the beginning of most of them, there is a page that tells you what you will find inside. My daughter loves inspecting that page so she can look for the things that interest her the most right away.


There is a great variety of reading, coloring, crafts, and games inside each magazine. I like that the majority of the crafts are fairly simple and don’t require a lot of special objects.  Our daughter was fairly self-sufficient with these magazines, and she and her cousin had fun playing the games that were in them.   

There is also a wide range of magazines to appeal to both different interests and different reading levels.  For older children, there are Super Hero magazines that read more like a comic book.  They tell about different characters, and have lots of details on them. 


These magazines would make a great gift for children in the 2-12 year old range!

  1. All of these magazines are wonderful. Every child would enjoy receiving these magazines each month and doing the crafts too.
